My Husband + Me 2.0

Meet Anakin folks.

This 2 year old is a ball of energy that could light up the whole city of Sydney. He made a hasty entry into the world and was born just a few days shy of 31 weeks. He was extremly eagar to make his appearance earthside. Upon his arrival he was dubbed Mr Skywalker by our hospital family, for he went from strength to strength,. This little Jedi is living up to the Skywalker namesake and has had no issues keeping up with his peers. As time goes by you will be privy to the darnest things he does.

The other day for fun, his dad and I pretended he was invisible and walked straight pass him yelling, 'Anakin!' As if we were looking for him. He then followed us and began yelling, 'Anakin, where are you?!' #kidssaythedarnestthings


Introducing Princess Aurora people.

She is currently 8.5 months old. She lives up to her part viking heritage and middle name Lagertha. She maybe little but she is a fierce shield-maiden. Strong and determined, coupled with a cute as a button smile. (I think she is trying to keep up with her Jedi brother.)
Her vocabulary is limited at the moment but she is expresses herself in other ways. Hugs are my favourite.

Her brother fell asleep on the play mat one time. She rummaged through his toy tools and picked his hammer. She then proceeded to crawl over to him and raised the hammer the way Thor would... mummy instinct kicked in and thwarted what could of been a very cranky 2 year old being woken up like the Kraken.

Honestly it was hard not to chuckle.

Love seeing their little personalities come to the surface. It brings me the greatest joy to see them evolve into themselves. But frankly, having a little Jedi with mind tricks and a stubborn shield-maiden can be a little scary at times 😜
